Elizabeth + Rory | Westin Hotel Dublin wedding photography

Elizabeth and Rory got married on New Year’s Eve in Dublin at Newman University Church on St Stephen’s Green. They based themselves at the Westin Hotel, which also hosted the reception. My only meeting with Elizabeth and Rory prior to the wedding, had been a virtual one over a crackly Skype connection from their apartment in New York. Elizabeth said she had an image in her head of something quite Victorian for their portraits. The Westin was perfect for that. I love the atmosphere created by the cool, December light. I also love the the contrast against some of the more candid, documentary shots. Elizabeth and Rory’s warm, passionate character, and their love for each other, really shines through.
