Jo + Craig | Wedding photographer Wolterton Hall
Jo and Craig’s Norfolk wedding was a treat. I know Jo from a few years back and I was excited to be seeing her again, as well as meeting Craig and seeing some other familiar faces. I also knew Jo would plan meticulously for the day, so to be booked by my old friend was a great honour.
Jo made her beautiful bouquet and the buttonholes for the wedding party herself, and travelled to Wolterton Hall with her Dad in a convertible Jaguar Mark V. Wolterton in Norfolk was a suitably grand venue, and Jo and Craig chose the lovely Back to the Garden at Letheringsett for their reception, which offered a warm welcome and scope to celebrate late into the evening. Jo’s Mum decorated the place with over 100 meters of hand-made bunting (hand-made by Jo’s Mum, I stress). Skiffle band The He Hews provided a sublime soundtrack to the evening. Those guys filled the dance floor faster than any other band I can remember playing at a wedding.
Attention to detail can make a huge difference to everyone’s enjoyment of a wedding and Jo and Craig got everything just right. But it was Jo and Craig radiating undiluted joy that really made the day. I arrived back that night exhausted and bleary eyed, but happy and smiling, with a hat full of photos to treasure.
