Johann + James | Family portrait Northern Ireland

Between weddings last year, I got to do some family portrait shoots too. I love working with kids, though somehow find it much easier to photograph other people’s than my own, who always want to hide or take my camera.

Johann and James’ crew were brilliant. A gorgeous mix of giggles, in-jokes that only they understood, the odd tear, and bewitching cuteness. The weather was kind so we explored the woods and the beach once we’d taken some simple portraits at home. Even the sun made an appearance right on cue …
