Niki + Steven | Northern Ireland Wedding Photographer Lough Erne

I loved photographing Niki and Steven’s wedding at Lough Erne. The part that I remember most vividly is Niki’s walk down the aisle. Steven had spent the preceding half an hour or more looking a little pale and anxious. I’m sure a jumble of emotions must have been rampaging through him. When he finally turned to see Niki, the look of relief and joy that spread over his face, and Niki’s, was really beautiful. It’s one of those moments where, as the photographer, I realize simultaneously how little I really know a couple – and yet how thrilled I am for them. All I can do is watch in awe, and keep photographing.

I’m still made-up that I was there to cover their wedding for them. Here’s how I saw the day …
