2015 | Belfast wedding photographer

Somewhere, someone has their foot flat to the floor. 2016 is already three weeks old and 2015 is speeding away behind us.

It was such a cool year. I got to work with couples I’d been looking forward to photographing for ages, in venues up and down the country. It’s a totally new experience every time. Trying to see each wedding with fresh eyes is important, but couples’ personalities differ so much anyway. Even if I was working in the same venue every week, the weddings would feel and look really different. That’s part of what I love. Getting to know each couple, finding out what they have planned, what their hopes are.

The feedback I’ve received from my couples this year has left me humbled and I’m ever more grateful that I get to do this for a living. I’m excited too about the year ahead. Trying out new ideas over the coming months is going to be a thrill.
