There were many things to love about Becky and Gareth’s wedding at the Merchant Hotel. It’s such a cool venue. Things just click into place there. The ceremony room was beautifully styled too – as it always is when Melanie from Mood Events has been at work. But it’s the personal things that make a wedding what it is at heart. I loved the fact that Gareth was holding page boy Euan in his arms as Becky came up the aisle, beaming at the two of them. I loved it when Becky finally kicked off her shoes and could breathe again, just before stepping out for the first dance. And I loved that embrace on the wet and windy roof top, high above the glistening streets below …
